Welcome to the first installment of FREE bait — that is free advice on all things marketing when it comes to your small business.
My name is Amy Wood and I have a pretty extensive background in visual communication from writing and producing television news to print and Web design. I grew an affinity for working with small businesses and decided to specialize in working with startups and businesses that want to grow their brand. My studio, MidFin Multimedia, is 1.5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Ocean City, MD.
Many of my colleagues would prefer the corporate client with lots of money to spend. I prefer a different challenge. I have found great joy in educating the small business owner on the importance of marketing to the bottom line. Once a well thought out plan is developed and much of the pressure of dealing with vendors is taken off their plates, my client friends are quite happy with the results.
